| This web site has been built as part of my Information and Learning Technologies course that I am following at the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside. The contents reflect some of the experiences that my wife and I had during a two year teaching contract in Botswana (Jan 1996 to Dec 1997). Anyone thinking of visiting or teaching in Botswana should find this site of interest. |
We were recruited through the British Council to work directly for the Botswana Government (TBRS). Before departure for Botswana we had a two day briefing at Farnham Castle and on arrival a week induction course in Gaborone. At this point we were told of our postings to Mater Spei College in Francistown where we spent the next two years.
